Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Ashbar Cloud Bridge ("the service") is a private integration service that connects Google service APIs to AI assistant tooling used internally by its operator. This policy explains what data the service accesses and how that data is handled.

1. No public users

The service is not offered to the public. It has no registration, no user accounts and no mechanism by which a third party can connect an account to it. The only account that authorises the service is an account belonging to the operator.

2. Data the service accesses

With the explicit authorisation of the account owner, the service reads performance and configuration data from Google services that the account already owns. In its current form this means search performance statistics for websites owned by the operator, such as search queries, page addresses, impressions, clicks, click-through rates and average positions.

The service does not request access to email, documents, files, contacts, calendars, photographs or payment information, and it has no technical ability to read them.

3. Read-only operation

The service operates in read-only mode. It does not create, modify or delete any content, settings or records in the connected Google account.

4. Storage and retention

5. Sharing

Data obtained through the service is not sold, rented, traded or transferred to any third party. It is not used for advertising, for profiling, for building or improving generalised models, or for any purpose unrelated to the operator's own reporting and analysis.

Limited Use. The service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

6. Withdrawing access

The account owner may revoke the service's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation takes effect immediately and the service permanently loses all ability to read data from that account.

7. Security

The service runs over encrypted connections only. Credentials are held as protected secrets rather than in source code or configuration files, and access to the operating environment is restricted to the operator.

8. Changes to this policy

If the service is extended to additional Google services, this policy will be updated before the additional access is requested, and the date above will be revised.
